River Rock School, located at 46 Barre Street in Montpelier, invites families with kids ages K-8 to come see our great little school at an Open House evening, Wednesday, January 14, at 7:00 p.m. Talk with teachers and parents about our program and see what we're all about!

A few tidbits about River Rock:

River Rock School is a progressive, independent, state-recognized day school for children ages 5-14. It is also a member of the Center for Arts and Learning in Montpelier. We offer hand-crafted education in a multi-aged setting. The school was founded in 2003 and maintains a program based on the emergent curriculum model.

At River Rock we educate and foster the growth of all aspects of being human—intellectual, emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and creative. We recognize the importance of helping children become strong, self-assured individuals who know how to live in and contribute to a community that respects and fosters the growth of each member.
