Author-Educator Workshop: Creating Global Connections

Laurel Neme is a conservationist and picture book author who works with organizations all over the world to protect species including orangutans, raptors, Kenyan elephants, Malaysian sun bears, and more. She will be coming to Bear Pond Books on 1/24 to talk about ways to make your own global connections for the classroom. She is a contributor to National Geographic, author of Animal Investigators, and her debut picture book is Orangutan Houdini. Laurel lives in Shelburne, Vermont. She will speak at 11:00 am.
