The Artist In Residence Gallery at 321 Main Street in Enosburg Falls will feature woodworkers Jason Brunault of Johnson and Micheal Perron of Jeffersonville at their monthly reception on Sunday, February 1st from 1-3 p.m. Refreshments will be served. The event is open to the public.
Perron, doing business as Once Turned, was an architectural designer for almost forty years before a random wood turning class changed his life. Now he is a full time turner creating useful products like kitchen rolling pins, pepper mills, jewelry, kaleidoscopes and rattles.
“For the first time in my life I am doing something that gives me pure satisfaction,” Perron said.
For Brunault about 17 years ago began hand crafting wonderful wood creations as a hobby. Today his hobby has grown into a good solid business, Jay's Wood Shop VT, producing high quality wood products that are available at local Vermont shops as well as Artisan shows throughout the year. He makes hardwood tables, hall buffets and coffee tables plus bread & cheese boards, bread knives, wine glass holders and more.
