Bullying, Cyberbullying and Youth Depression Presentation at Twinfield

YOU ARE INVITED!!!
Community Event: “Bullying, Cyberbullying and Youth Depression”
Presented by Mr. John Halligan

Join us on the evening of January 15th, when renowned speaker, John Halligan addresses the Cabot, Marshfield and Plainfield communities on the issues of internet safety, bullying and youth depression. John Halligan's son, Ryan, died by suicide on October 7, 2003 after being bullied by classmates at school and online. He was only 13 years old. Halligan's presentation will cover the lessons learned too late for his family regarding how to deal with these issues.

The event will be held at the Old Schoolhouse Common in Marshfield. The doors will open at 6:00 pm. Mr. Halligan’s talk will begin at 6:30 pm.

Mr. Halligan will also be speaking to 5-12 grade students during school assemblies on Friday, January 16th. You can see more about his program at http://www.ryanpatrickhalligan.org

Having heard John speak in the past, our principal, Mark Mooney can attest to importance of Mr. Halligan's powerful message.
