The February Bristol First Sunday Salon, "A Sense of Place", with John Elder and Nate Gusakov has been postponed to April 12th, 7 pm at the Walkover Gallery in downtown Bristol. We'll keep you posted.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Bristol First-Sunday Salon Series continues at the Walkover Gallery, 15 Main St., Bristol, VT. John Elder and Nate Gusakov will host an evening of readings and music inspired by “A Sense of Place”.
John, a long-time resident of Bristol, is a writer and retired Professor of Environmental Studies at Middlebury College. Nate is a well-known local singer-songwriter who lives in Lincoln. Both of them are deeply interested in exploring the question - how does where we live affect who we are, how we live, and what we create? For both Nate and John “place” means right here - the natural and built environment of the Five-Town Area, the New Haven Watershed in the shadow of Hogback Ridge.
For this Salon the two artists will offer sets of complementary music and readings which bear on the theme of “A Sense of Place”. Between sets there will be opportunities for questions, comments, and discussion.
Refreshments will be available. The Bristol First-Sunday Salon Series is intended to be informal, inclusive, and participatory - Come as you are, Pay what you can, Say what you think.
