From farm raised humanely managed heritage breed pigs to finished sausage, join the Green Mountain Girls Farm at 923 Loop Rd, Northfield for a hands-on workshop with Master Butcher Cole Ward. There will be instruction and hands-on learning about how to butcher a whole animal, and cut pork. Then we will move on to prepping meat for sausage and making fresh bulk and linked sausage, including a discussion of equipment, techniques, recipes and ingredients.
