For the fifth year in a row, St. John Vianney is the proud host of the annual: South Burlington’s Best Ever Community Blood Drive! This year’s event is scheduled for Tuesday, January 27th from 12 – 6 pm in the St. John Vianney Parish Hall. This year's blood drive is run by Rebels with a Dream, a group of South Burlington High School students. As a team, their goal is to make a difference in the community and help the people that are in need. And they can only do this with the support of the community. As of now, the students have organized businesses, ranging from Dunkin Donuts & Midas to numerous local businesses in South Burlington to help sponsor the event and donate prizes for all donors. As Neerja Patel, the student chair states, "We're right on track for our event. There's going to be lots of fun this January! Our blood drive's theme of a Summer Olympics is underway; there is sure to be the essence of summer in January at our event--that's for sure!" If you're interested in learning more about this event, contact Neerja Patel at sbrebeldreams@gmail.com for more. Stay tuned for more updates on this group's progress!
