A live television news crew will be interviewing the planners of our upcoming Winterfest on Thursday morning to promote this event all around Vermont. We need an exciting backdrop that features the unique spirit of Waterbury and are asking for volunteers of all ages to come out and play broom ball under the lights very early that morning. No playing experience required and broomball equipment will be provided.
Warming fires, a heated lounge area, coffee and doughnuts available to all volunteers. Sections of the live broadcast will be re-aired on the 6 o’clock evening news and on the station’s website. Even if you’d rather not play, please consider cheering from the sideboards and showing the rest of the state that we know how to have real fun here in Waterbury!
