Being a Single Mom: Maybe you love it. Maybe you’d like a little support among mothers confronting similar barriers. Barriers? Maybe not so much for you—maybe you’d just like to fly! Come join other single moms to share your experience, explore single motherhood and create a community by giving voice to all of our experiences.

Facilitator: Mary Rose Dougherty is a poet who taught for many in years in area colleges. A Vermont Studio Center fellow, her writing has appeared in Calliope, Yankee, and Calyx. She lives with her son and dog in Montpelier.
