Since launching in 2014 Pathways Vermont's Supportive Services for Veteran Families program has supported over 90 veterans and their families find permanent housing in the community. This holiday season we will be supporting around 50 veterans households. Join the SSVF team in welcoming them home for the holidays with a gift basket full of needed items and special treats!
We will be assembling gift baskets at Pathways Vermont's offices in downtown Burlington on Saturday, December 20th from 11 am to 1 pm (or longer if needed!) Join us for a day of giving back to those who have given so much.
We are also seeking donations of small items to be included in the gift baskets. We are seeking the following requested items:
-$10 gift cards to local supermarkets, drugstores and superstores
-TRACFONE phone cards
-Small housewares - such as cooking utensils, oven mitts, alarm clocks, kithcen towels and flashlights
-Cold weather accessories - such as warm socks, mittens, gloves and hand warmers
-Toiletries and personal hygiene products
-Cleaning Supplies
-Art supplies and small toys
You are welcome to bring any of the above or other items but most importantly BRING YOURSELF!
