Essex PoliTalk is a weekly "remote" forum for conversation among local residents about municipal, school, and state governments.
Participants attend meetings, read and / or think critically about issues each week, then convene to discuss current events in a moderated forum that ensures everyone has an opportunity to be heard. Candidates for office and elected officials often attend.
We aim to create a comfortable space for folks of all political stripes to express thoughts and opinions. We remind each other: we are neighbors, and we want to improve our community for everyone's sake.
Consider joining in. We alternate between Saturdays at 9 am (next weekend) and Sundays at 11:30 am (this weekend).
