The Stowe Sound Immersion is performing an hour of deep relaxation, healing and meditation Friday the 21st of March at Stowe Yoga Center from 6 to 7 pm.

As those of you who have attended in the past know, this is no ordinary "sound bath". This is a deep dance of healing and meditation through the seven chakras created by Kate and Jack to enhance your being, opening all your creative and spiritual energies to allow you the freedom to "be in the present moment".

You will arrive to a lovely setting of mats, pillows, and blankets with the "orchestra" of instruments visually enticing you to pick a space of your own and settle in.

The performance starts with a "perfect fifth" meditation, using tuning forks to create a harmony of sound in your mind. The overlapping frequencies soothe the soul and help you relax into the performance.

For the next hour, you are treated to a cascade of coherent, organized sound healing. Each chakra resonates as the instruments seamlessly integrate your mind, body and spirit connections.

We use the Tingsha chimes to announce the beginning of the session, then the slow, steady beat of the Buffalo Frame Drum resonates your first chakra. As you go deeper, some of the seven Crystal Singing Bowls begin to hum and resonate, creating binaural beats that help you relax and go deeper.

As we progress through the chakras you will experience the deep rhythms of the Udu Drum, The seven Crystal Singing Bowls played in harmony, creating binaural beats and entraining your mind to a deep state of relaxation, The African Djembe, the duet of Steel Tongue Drumming, the soothing waves of the Ocean Drum, the powerful vibrations of the Tibetan Brass and Seven Metal Bowl chorus, along with a delightful segue using Tuning Forks and the enchanting backup of the Kalimba with many different scales of chimes.

The session ends being grounded deeply by the ocean drum with a cascade of diamonds in your mind, brought to you by the Dance of the Koshi Bells.
