🎉 Bethel Town Meeting & Voting Day 2025: What to Know

It's the most wonderful time of the year! That's right — the day we come together as a town to celebrate and meet neighbors, learn what's happening, discuss and vote on our town budget and important issues, choose selectboard and school board members… and of course eat lots and lots of pie.

☀️ Town Meeting Community Fair, Pie, and Coffee Hour: Tues. March 4
White River Valley Middle School Lobby, 273 Pleasant Street, Bethel
9 AM: Pie, coffee, and community fair. Eat free pie (bring one if you can!) and catch up with neighbors. Drop by community group and town committee tables to find out what's going on, how to get involved, and discover local resources.
9:30 AM-9:45: Town Meeting Opening Ceremony, featuring live music by Dick McCormack and a local democracy cheerleading performance by the BYS Wildcat Cheerleaders.

🎤Town Meeting & Budget Vote & Community Fair: Tues. March 4, 10 AM - ?
White River Valley School Gym, 273 Pleasant Street, Bethel
*You must attend live to vote on the town budget*
Vote live, listen, and discuss critical town issues alongside your neighbors. Bethel's "floor meeting" is the chance for voters to decide on next year's budget, tax schedules, social service spending, and more. Come hear presentations, share your thoughts, and make your choices. Free childcare!

White River Valley School Elementary Lobby, 273 Pleasant Street, Bethel
Vote by ballot for:
• Town Selectboard members and other local officials
• White River Valley School Board members and officials
• WRUD School Facilities Bond.

Quick reminders!
✔️You can register to vote right at the polls or at Town/School meetings.
✔️Sample ballots are available to view at the town office, town clerk's office, library, lobby at Mascoma Bank, Post office.
✔️Free childcare, rides, accommodations and assistance available! Kids are welcome at the meetings too. Contact town office or use the request form at the link below.
✔️You must attend the live town/school meetings to vote on annual budgets. These are "floor" votes where voters can discuss, ask questions, propose amendments, and make changes live.
✔️You must vote by ballot for town and school officers and the bond vote. Go to the polls to vote, vote early at Bethel Town Clerk during normal hours (through March 3), or pick up a ballot at the Town Clerk and return it by 7 PM on March 4.
