Three Community Christmas Events for You

Past event
Dec 20, 2014, 5 to 6 PM

Live Nativity:
A very expectant mother and her husband have been spotted wandering around the Fair Haven village green and will appear with their donkey on Saturday December 20th at 5 PM near the Methodist Church. The couple hopes to stay at the Marble Inn. We will see! Shepherds will be tending their flocks & angels will be singing in the gazebo, and if all else fails an animal shed by the fountain could provide emergency shelter. Come sing and journey with the couple! Hot refreshments after at the Congo Church!

Christmas Eve 7 PM Community Christmas Celebration
Join Stuart the innkeeper (Eddie James) and his guest (Tommy Woodard) - also a wise man and a shepherd- in a hilarious and moving time at the Bethlehem Bed and Breakfast… “The Innkeeper’s Dilemma” playing at the First Congregational Church of Fair Haven. Sing a couple of great songs. Savor the sound of Erik Brown on the piano. Let Christmas burst forth in your heart! Sponsored by the Fair Haven Area Churches.

Midnight Christmas Eve Communion
Fair Haven: It’s 11 PM on Dec. 24th and the lights go down at the First Congregational Church UCC. Step by step, through the darkness come Mary, Joseph, Shepherds, Seekers, Creatures, and finally Christ. The light shining through the darkness grows brighter with every arrival at the manger (a beautiful French Nativity). Everything culminates in communion and candlelight… at MIDNIGHT. Everyone is welcome!
