Join Vermont Woodlands Association, Vermont Tree Farm Program, and Meadowsend Timberlands LTD for a woodland snowshoe adventure on Thursday as we explore an active timber harvest on packed trails. Ryan Kilborn of Meadowsend Timberlands LTD, a consulting forester overseeing the project, will be leading the walk. Ryan will discuss his work thinning hardwood stands and creating small openings to improve forest health and wildlife habitat. Plus, we'll keep an eye out for wildlife tracks and signs along the way! Along the way, we'll also look for wildlife tracks!
