On Friday, December 19th at 7 PM the Green Mountain Club will be hosting the premiere movie screening of Only the Essential: A Hike from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. Film maker Colin Arisman has documented his 2,600 mile journey in this beautifully made and inspiring film. As part of the GMC's James P. Taylor Outdoor Adventure Series, the night will feature a showing of the film, introduction and Q&A session with Colin, refreshments, and an awesome ultra-light gear raffle! The screening will be held at the GMC's Visitor Center on Route 100 in Waterbury. Tickets at door only; $5 for members, $8 for non-members, kids 12 & under are free. All proceeds benefit the GMC's Education Program.
