Please join us at Shelburne Town Hall to celebrate the launch of #1 Sunday Times bestselling author, journalist, and Charlotte resident Jack Fairweather's new book, The Prosecutor, about the remarkable Jewish lawyer Fritz Bauer and his Cold War battle to bring Nazis to justice and force the world to confront the truth of the Holocaust.
For the past five years, Fairweather has followed in Bauer's footsteps on a historical journey through concentration camps, Nazi-occupied Denmark, the Argentine Pampas, and the courtrooms of Jerusalem and Frankfurt to uncover his brave struggle against a society determined to forget.
He'll be sharing Bauer's story with a multimedia presentation at Shelburne Town Hall on Monday, February 24, at 7 p.m., with a booksigning afterwards.
