Advanced-Beginning Fiddle Workshop with Jeanne Miller
Ages: All ages welcome. Students under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: $20 per class or $100 in advance. (Minimum of 4 students to hold the class)

In this course students will explore the circle of fifths as it applies to fiddle playing, the beginnings of improvisation, typical fiddle bowings, double stops, cross tuning and more standard tunes such as Soldiers Joy, Billy in the Low Ground and Billy Wilson. Bring a fiddle or and bow and recording device if possible. Fiddles are available for rent or purchase at Vermont Violins through Jeanne. Arrangements MUST be made BEFORE the first class.
