With a fan base that has expanded all the way from VT to NYC and LA, where her career has taken off, Myra Flynn hasn’t forgotten her Vermont roots. She will be back in VT this holiday season where Shelburne Vineyard will welcome her for a post-holiday house concert beginning at 6 PM Saturday, December 27. Save the date now and plan to join us for an intimate evening featuring her unique and personal blend of soulful songwriting and ageless covers. Along with the music, Shelburne Vineyard wines and Fiddlehead will be for sale by the glass and Black Krim Tavern from Randolph VT, where Myra grew up, will be on hand selling a menu of their localvore supper dishes. Admission is free and all are welcome.
Flynn is a special performer, returning for her third gig at the Vineyard with her warm and personal presence and a power that moves the listener well beyond what the music itself brings to the performance. With her longtime musical partner, Paul Boffa, she delivers an evening that grows new fans with each performance. Named “Best Up-and-Coming Performer in VT” in 2010 and 2011 by Seven Days, she has also been cited as “New England Artist of the Month” by The Deli Magazine New England.
