Incumbent alderman Clark Curtis is running for a second two-year term. Carl King, A. Carter Finegan, and Andrew Tochette have filed for election as well. The two candidates that receive the most votes will win election to two-year terms in office.
City Clerk and Treasurer Jim Johnson said there is one more petition being circulated by Adam Ortiz. Ortiz later confirmed to the Express that he is indeed on the ballot for City Council.
