Did you know that 2 in 5 Vermonters are Food Insecure?
You're invited to a panel discussion where five people will talk about the work they're doing to help reduce food insecurity as well as what more they think should be done to help make a dent in this continuing problem.
The panelists will be:
Mary Jo Patchett, Director of the Richmond Food Shelf and Thrift Store
Ari who works at the Richmond Food Shelf
Fran Thomas who has run Richmond Meals on Wheels for 30 years
Kyle Weatherhogg, Senior Manager of Community Engagement in Chittenden County from the VT Food Bank
Marshall Paulsen one of the leaders of the Richmond Friday Food Affair
Please join us and meet the people from various organizations who are working to reduce food insecurity. Reflect with the panelists about what is needed to really make a dent in this problem. There will be time to ask questions.
