The Roxbury Community Crafters (RCC) is hosting a two-day barn quilting project for all Roxbury residents aged 18 and above. This project was inspired by local artist Carrie Caouette-DeLallo and the positive impact of barn quilting on the community of Chelsea. The best part? All artist teaching fees and materials will be covered by a generous grant from the Vermont Arts Council. So, there's no cost to participate! Come create a beautiful piece of artwork that you can hang on your barn, house, chicken coop, or any other place you like. Be a part of the positive movement happening in Roxbury! A delicious lunch will be available through Roots.
This event offers two 1-day classes; you get to choose either March 29, Saturday or March 30, Sunday.
Signing up is easy. You can register online at https://roxburyvtdotcom.wixsite.com/roxbury-vermont or stop by the Roxbury Community Hall on February 15th and 22nd (2-4 p.m.) to sign up in person. Please note that registration closes on March 20th, 2025.
