For decades Strafford's David Lamb supported animals throughout the Upper Valley with his gentle and caring style of veterinary care. As part of this work, he supported the Strafford Fire and Rescue's annual rabies clinic for over 30 years giving out shots to cats and dogs while fundraising for the local fire department. This tradition continues after his passing and we are proud to continue to care for the animals of our community.
The Rabies Clinic will happen at the South Strafford sub-station (149 VT Rte 132) from 9-11 am (note this earlier time than it was for many years) on Saturday March 15th. Rabies shots for dogs and cats from any town are available for $20. Both cash and checks will be accepted. The Strafford Town Clerk will also be on hand to license Strafford dogs. Dr. Lisa Colgan of Norwich Regional Animal Hospital will be back for her fourth year to administer the doses.
