Panel Presentation and Discussion: Phone and Social Media Free Schools
Monday Feb. 10th at 6:30pm
Kellogg Hubbard Library, Hayes Room
Free

Last summer, several VT middle and high schools adopted policies that create a phone and social media-free school for the entire day. Find out how their "away for the day" approach has been going and hear about what educators are seeing in our own community. Learn about local and statewide efforts to give ALL Vermont K-12 students and educators this opportunity. We'll answer questions and help you find out how to get involved. Some legislators may join us, so would be great to have a good turnout. Homemade refreshments provided!

Panelists (all are parents):
Jenna Bravakis, guidance counselor at Main St. Middle School
Jeannie Ellis, special educator at Harwood Union School
Adam Sargent, teacher at Harwood Union School
Mary Zentara, educator, trauma practitioner
Rima Carlson, Montpelier physician
