This Saturday workshop provides valuable information on the homebuying process and down payment assistance programs
St. Johnsbury, VT – RuralEdge will host a Saturday Homebuyer Education Workshop February 15th, 2025 from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The workshop will take place at 105 Mountain View Drive, St. Johnsbury, VT, and is designed to provide valuable information for individuals interested in purchasing a home.

The comprehensive workshop will cover the entire homebuying process, including key insights into down payment assistance programs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from a panel of professionals in the housing field:
• Tyler Maas from the Vermont State Housing Authority will present information on the Mobile Home Infill Program and homes available in the Northeast Kingdom (NEK).
• Joby MacDonald from Checkpoint Property Inspections will offer expert advice on home inspections.
• Christine Corbett, NMLS #623958 from EastRise Credit Union, will discuss financing options for first-time homebuyers.

Participation in this workshop, along with one individual counseling session, is required to access many down payment assistance programs that help make homeownership more attainable.
