Christmas Pageant

Past event
Dec 21, 2014, 4 PM

This year we are having a Christmas Pageant on December 21st at 4pm, which may be a little different. For decades, we have produced the same pageant, kids dressed as animals at the manger, choir singing lofty music, etc. This year we are doing something of a blend between the traditional and new!

You, the audience, are invited to mingle with the characters presenting the Birth Story. At the very least, you will be asked to not only witness the story told, but to sing some of your favorite Christmas Hymns.

Last year we had a blizzard on the Sunday we had planned this event. So,we are presenting this for the first time. We are dedicating the presentation to Chris Mullin, who left us last year, but had played Joseph so many times, he earned the title of our eternal Joseph.

This service replaces our morning worship service and we will take an offering during the pageant. The Wise Men gather those gifts from us and present them to the babe! we hope you will consider coming out on the 21st and joining us for this fun and formal way of hearing the story which gives December 25th its meaning. There will be goodies to share following the Pageant :)
