The Hinesburg Community Christmas concert will be on Sunday, December 14, 4:30pm. at St Jude Church in Hinesburg. The concert will feature the South County Chorus and the HAS Orchestra under the direction of Rufus Patrick.
Guest artists will be Stowe native, soprano Hannah Marshall and Charlotte resident tenor Bill Bickford.
Hannah has performed in many Messiah performances in Stowe as well as with the Stowe Theatre Guild and Lyric Theatre. Hannah will also perform seasonal selections accompanied by Stowe native Chris Vigneau.
Bill Bickford sings with various local organizations, most notably, Men At First and The Swingin Vermont Big Band. This is the second appearance for Bill as a guest soloist for the Hinesburg Artist Series.
The performance will include selections from “Messiah”, settings of “Gloria” by Craig Courtney and Mark Hayes, “Throw the Yule Log on, Uncle John”, by P.D. Q. Bach, an arrangement of “Fum Fum Fum”, featuring Tim Woos and Christopher Vigneau as accompanists, and a stirring arrangement of “Oh Holy Night” arranged by John Leavitt

The concert is FREE, with donations gratefully accepted.
Also, please bring a non-perishable food item for the Hinesburg Food Shelf.
