The Montpelier Roxbury board of school directors meets on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month (with exceptions for holidays) at 6:30. This week's meeting will be in the library of Montpelier High School and available to join via Zoom. The board will hear a data presentation on social, emotional learning and absenteeism. This is the 2nd of 3 data presentations each school year, and tracks trends and progress we're seeing in student outcomes in these areas. The report on this data can be viewed at the above link.
The board will also hold its final discussion and vote on the budget to send to voters on Town Meeting Day. A presentation on the budget can be viewed at the above link.
Other items on the agenda are a proposed update to how the board conducts the superintendent evaluation, and monitoring policies on firearms and homeschooling. The board will end the meeting in executive session to discuss the renewal of the superintendent's contract.
