Wassailing is an ancient practice of gathering together to sing to and honor the trees (and in some cultures the bees and farm animals as well) during the Christmas holiday season. Following tradition, we will take time in the dead of winter to thank and bless our apple trees with toasts and libations, songs, and fires. We invite you to join us in our annual celebration! Dress warm, we will be outside in the orchard. Bring bells, musical instruments or noisemakers. Green men, Apple princesses, and wild beasts are welcome! Come early to make a costume and learn songs if you like.

4 pm : process thru the orchard
5:30: potluck in our farmhouse
