'"What a world, what a world" is a famous line from the movie "The Wizard of Oz," spoken by the Wicked Witch of the West as she melts away, signifying her defeat; it's often used to express surprise or disbelief at a situation, particularly when something unexpected or dramatic happens.' (Google AI) On the day before we celebrate the life and works of Martin Luther King, Jr. and at the same time observe the inauguration of the next President of the United States, we'll take a deep breath to share with one another our thoughts about the state of the world – or at least our little corner of the world.

You will be invited to share your thoughts, and are also invited to bring a poem, short reading or song that expresses what you think.
