Get ready for some winter fun at VerShare's 28th Annual Snowshoe-a-thon! Registration is now OPEN!

The Snowshoe-a-thon is the premier fundraiser for VerShare's FREE Community Summer Camp, which had about 100 participants last year. Our goal this year is to raise $15,000 to support the camp and also sponsor a music/arts program at Westshire Elementary School this spring.

How can YOU participate?
-By raising funds/donating at VerShare.org. Onsite donations will also be available - cash, check and cards accepted. $200+ donors will receive a FREE snowshoe-a-thon beanie!
-By snowshoeing, of course! There will be 3 route options: ¼ mile, 1-mile and 3-mile loops. The 3-mile loop will take snowshoers to the top of Pine Top Hill to enjoy a spectacular view and some tasty s'mores by a bonfire. All snowshoers will receive a special gift for participating.

Don't have your own snowshoes? No problem! 50+ pairs of snowshoes, of all sizes, are available to borrow during the event (pre-registration required).

Snowshoeing will be followed by a chili/soup lunch at the Vershire Town Center, provided by The Mountain School and our community. For more winter fun, the Vershire ice rink will also be open, weather permitting, with free rental skates and there will be a bonfire with s'mores fixins ready. The Made in Vershire Shop will have a table onsite to feature a variety of local wares made by town residents for sale.
