Dear Milton Families and Community Members,

We'd like to invite you to an important Community Forum about the Milton Town School District's proposed FY26 school budget and the $8 million bond vote. This bond will address much-needed facility updates at Herrick Avenue, focusing on safety, health, and modern learning spaces.

The Bond will focus on replacing aging infrastructure, addressing health and safety concerns, and aligning learning spaces with modern educational needs. Key projects include roof and window replacements, upgrades to the electrical system, improvements to the library and air handling systems, and other critical repairs. These updates are essential to ensuring a safe, healthy, and productive learning environment for our students and staff.

We know tax rates are important to our community. The bond's first payment is already built into the FY26 budget, and we're happy to share that this will mean an estimated 5% decrease in the tax rate.
