All are invited to the Annual Charlotte Historic Quinlan Schoolhouse Olde Fashioned Holiday Party! Celebrate as Charlotte children did long ago - with a cozy atmosphere, a tree without lights, (but with homemade ornaments) cider, cold and warm - treats to savor - holiday music - a holiday craft (an aromatic pomander ball). See the winter sports equipment of yesteryear - wooden sleds and homemade jack jumpers (what's a jack jumper? You can learn!) A free event for all, sponsored by the Friends of the Quinlan Schoolhouse. We'll have olde fashioned fun at the Quinlan Schoolhouse on the Charlotte Green Sunday, December 7, from 1 - 3 pm, and then you can continue your olde fashioned experience with a visit to the Charlotte Historical Society Memorial Museum up the hill, open until 4:00 pm!
