Death Café & Living Will Group Effort - Thursday at 11

Jan 9, 2025, 11 AM

Sharon Putney offers her Death Café again this Thursday at 11:00 am at the Library. She offers cake and tea, and everyone is free to speak openly about topics surrounding death and dying. We have had a few requests for help in writing an Advance Directive, or Living Will -- a document which names your health care proxy, i.e. the person who you want to make health decisions for you when you cannot, and can also indicate your wishes for end-of-life care. So Sharon has offered to help and provide paperwork so that folks can work on the document in the companionship of others. If you would like to come Thursday and complete the Directive, than spend some time to consider who might be your health care proxy. If you're not ready to complete the forms but just want more information about it, then come and we can help.
