The thrill of Sled Dog Racing is returning to Morristown for the sixth year on January 25th and 26th! Starting at Oxbow Park, teams will race along the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, heading east to Wolcott and back. Teams from all over New England, New York and Canada will be running in this race.
Sled dog racing is a sport with roots tracing back centuries, originating from the practical need to travel long distances in snowy, remote areas. Today, it's celebrated as an incredible display of teamwork, endurance, and the special bond between dogs and their mushers. Whether you're a lifelong fan or new to the sport, this event offers an up-close experience you won't forget!
Organized by the North Country Mushers, a New England-based club, and powered by local volunteers, this event is a must-see for the whole community.
