The Eleva Chamber Players will present the New York City-based DragonBoot String Quartet on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 3 PM at the United Church of Christ/Waterbury Congregational Church (8 North Main Street, Waterbury). DragonBoot, a quartet of vibrant and exceptionally talented young musicians, poised at the brink of promising careers, will perform music of two familiar composers, and will also introduce the audience to the work of a contemporary American composer. The program will include:

Haydn's String Quartet Op.33 No. 1
Mozart's String Quartet No. 21 in D - K575
Caroline Shaw's Three Essays for String Quartet.

Caroline Shaw is a Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award-winning composer whose culturally relevant and inventive music will dazzle you.
