US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy published a booklet, "Recipes for Connection" which emphasizes the benefits of eating with others. Monday Munch at the Charlotte Senior Center provides this joyful opportunity. Start the New Year by doing something to benefit yourself.

A donation of $5 to cover the cost of the food is recommended but not required. Meals are panned and prepared and the dishes washed by crews of volunteers.
