The public is invited to a "My Front Yard," an exhibition by Pownal artist Rico Dovey at Images Cinema in Williamstown. The show opens with a reception on Monday, January 6 from 5 to 7 pm in the new Cinema Lounge, and continues through January.
The exhibition combines the premiere of new "photo paintings," along with several acrylic and pastel works Rico made before his deteriorating vision brought his painting to a halt some years ago. His recent discovery of combining photography, software programs and printing techniques allows him to show how he now sees the world during his daily walks in the woods with his dog, Hattie.
