Community Grief Group

Jan 8, 2025, 6:30 to 8 PM

Here we are at the start of a new year. For many, this is a time of excitement for what lays ahead, a time for setting goals and intentions. Yet the start of a new year can also stir up grief in unexpected ways.

Join me Wednesday January 8th, 6:30-8pm, for my monthly Community Grief Group, and start of 2025 with care and support.

This free offering is a space for you to gather with your grief, and with others who are grieving their own losses. Rachel will facilitate the group, creating a container and gentle structure for participants to listen and share (or not!) about their own grief journey.

This group is for all types of grief - the loss of a loved one, chronic or terminal illnesses, loss of a pet, shifting stages of life, environmental and global conditions... all grief is valid and welcome in this group.

When + Where?
Every 2nd Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Fire Folk Arts Studios (4424 Main Street, Waitsfield). Current 2025 Dates: Jan 8, Feb 12, Mar 12.

Who is facilitating?
Rachel Wylie-Fenton is a death doula, grief guide, weaver, and storyteller. Her work is informed and guided by nearly a decade of personal experience and training in somatic practices, leadership, doula services, death work, trauma informed group facilitation, and grief support. Her own apprenticeship with grief began in 2020 with her father's diagnosis and death from ALS.
