Dear Chittenden 14 Community,

I want to take a moment to thank you for joining us at last month's screening of The Hungry Heart. It was truly special to come together as a community to reflect on such an important topic and to share meaningful conversations with those who are in recovery.

I am also deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me by reelecting me to represent you. It is an honor and responsibility that I do not take lightly, and I am thrilled to begin the 2025 legislative session with a renewed focus and energy.

Additionally, I am excited to share that I have been elected to serve the House Democratic Caucus as the Assistant Majority Leader of External Communications. This role provides a unique opportunity to further amplify our shared priorities and communicate the progress we are working toward in the Legislature.

As we move forward, I am committed to addressing the priorities so many of you have shared with me, including improving public education, reforming education finance, tackling housing challenges, ensuring public safety, and enhancing access to healthcare. These issues are vital to our community's well-being, and I am eager to collaborate with my colleagues and all of you to make meaningful progress and positive change.

I'm also delighted to announce that Representative Rachelson and I will be co-hosting a consistent coffee hour on Monday, January 13th, from 8-9 A.M. at Willow's Bagels in Burlington. This will be a wonderful opportunity to share updates on what we are doing in the Statehouse and, most importantly, to hear from you about your priorities, hopes, and interests. I hope to see you there!
