OSSU Community Focus Forum on Special Education Services and Funding
Thursday December 11th 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Wolcott Elementary
Have you ever wondered how Special Education budgets are created? Or what services public schools must provide by law? Or how school districts are working to keep costs down while still meeting student learning needs?
Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union invites you to bring your questions and join us on Thursday December 11th, 6 pm at Wolcott Elementary School. Heather Freeman, Interim Director of Student Services and Kelly Locke, Special Educator, will present information followed by group discussion.
OSSU is holding community forums each month during the 2014-2015 school year to share important information and promote discussion on education issues that affect all of us - from students to taxpayers. Videos and resources from past forums can be viewed at www.ossu.org as well as Hardwick Community Television Channel 16 and www.hctv.us
For more information about the OSSU community forum series, including the full schedule, call 802-472-6531 x 14 or visit OSSU’s website at www.ossu.org.
