Aikido, a Japanese martial study, is based on the movements of the Samurai, but applied to empty hand techniques. Instead of using these techniques to study the effectiveness of fighting, in Aikido we create more of a dance in which both participants try to create the technique together. Then we switch roles and try the other side of the technique. (All classes taught by 3rd degree blackbelt and certified instructor.)

Aikido is accessible to all ages and all body types. Students and Instructor are helpful and supportive, while still pushing each individual to do their personal best. If you stick with it, you will tone your body and your mind, increasing resilience and mental fortitude.
