Onion River Chorus, under the direction of Richard Riley, presents two concerts Saturday, December 21 at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 22 at 4:00pm. Both concerts are at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. The program includes Frostiana and Alleluia by the American composer Randall Thompson, three settings of the hymn "Ave maris stella" by Josquin, Monteverdi and Grieg, and two pieces by the Latvian composer Eriks Esenvalds. There will be an informal reception after the Sunday concert. Tickets are available at the door- $25 suggested donation or "pay what you can", 18 and under free, and also at sevendaystickets.com.
