Central VT OLLI presents the Rick Winston Series on the Films of Zhang Yimou

Rick Winston presents a third Chinese film by Zhang Yimou, primarily known for directing House of Flying Daggers. Coming Home (2014) is an historical drama set during the Cultural Revolution. It focuses on a professor whose banishment to a labor camp destroys members of his family. The film presents the professor's persistence in the face of impossible odds to reunite and rekindle familial connections.

Registration for this last film program in the series is $8. Register online beforehand or by mail to UVM OLLI. If you decide to drop in at the last moment, you may send a check or pay online after the fact.
