Winooski residents in a position to do so should encourage the Burlington City Council to authorize their Director of Public Works to execute BF RAIZ(2), better known as the Winooski River Burlington/Winooski Bridge replacement project. The Winooski City Council approved a similar action back in March.

It is important to Winooski that Burlington approve this action as the federal funding will be pulled if Burlington City Council does not. This would leave Winooski having to continue to fund half the cost of maintenance on the current almost-100-year-old bridge.
