Everyone is invited to a publication party of Ray Clark's new book of poetry, "Here and There." The celebration will be at Brattleboro's new ByWay Books at 399 Canal Street on Sunday, December 15th. Ray will be reading his poetry, at 11:00 and 1:00. Books will be available (signed by the author if requested) for $19.95.

Refreshments will be served.

As the title "Here and There" suggests, this collection of poems reflects the author's years growing up "here" on the New Hampshire seacoast, residing in southern New Hampshire and Vermont, and spending a lot of time "there," mostly in Turkey, Pakistan, and Viet Nam. But wherever, Mother Nature has been a key player in these scenes.

Ray has enjoyed a long life as a teacher, traveler, author, editor, and publisher of English as a Second Language materials – always an educator. Throughout his career he has also very quietly been a poet, reflecting on his adventures and the world around him. This book is a collection of his favorite poems, so far.
