Spirit in Nature Paths, Ripton
On the night of December 21st, amidst the rush of the season, the board of directors at Spirit in Nature invites you to pause and hold space for contemplation. Follow the candlelit path to the Sacred Circle, and join friends and neighbors in the warmth of community around the campfire.
Let's share poetry, words of encouragement, stories, a cup of tea. Write down any hopes you may have for the future, or anything you'd like to release, and give them to the fire. Let's look for the light in the darkness.
We will also offer a reading of the picture book "Night Tree" by Eve Bunting. This is the story of a family who makes edible ornaments, ventures into the wilderness, and decorates a Christmas tree to feed the animals. Supplies will be available for us to do the same.
Young or old, of any faith or none at all, all are most welcome!
We will gather beginning at 3:30pm and on past sunset. Consider bringing a flashlight, and perhaps a poem or a thought to share.
