The holiday season is here again and it is time for the Montpelier Community Gospel Choir to lift your spirits with the joy of gospel music in two full choir concerts in a few weeks in Barre and Montpelier.
Please join us for our 20th year of great music!
The first concert will be in Barre VT on Saturday, Dec 6, at 7 PM at First Universalist Church, located at 19 Church Street.
(Suggested donation $10/$25 for families)
The second concert will be in Montpelier VT on Sunday, Dec 7, at 4 PM at Bethany United Church of Christ, located at 115 Main Street.
A free-will offering will be taken and there will be a reception and silent auction to follow the Montpelier concert.
About the Montpelier Community Gospel Choir....
The choir's mission is to share with the community the joy, hope and inspiration that it experiences through music. Central VT's only gospel choir and band combines soul, jazz, original and traditional gospel music to produce an exuberant sound. The choir came together in 1994 and has grown to over 65 members. The choir is composed of everyday people who more often than not have no professional training, yet can produce a sound that reaches from deep within their souls to touch their audiences in a powerful way.
This group of people, from all religious and musical backgrounds, is the quintessential example of what people are capable of when their spirits are moved through music. You won't be disappointed, in fact if you haven't experienced an MCGC concert, you'll be amazed at how great you'll feel during the concert and you'll probably come away feeling happier, uplifted and more hopeful.
