It's the holidays and no one has time for an hour-long presentation and public Q&A, so stop by for as long or as short as you like for an overview and personalized discussion.

At long last, a complete DRAFT of the revised WDB Chapter 42 Village Zoning District is now online and ready for public hearings. This proposal balances Village scale and character, practical historic preservation, and creates new opportunity for residential and economic vitality of this beloved little zoning district. In addition to a major overhaul of Chapter 42, several other chapters have proposed revisions in support of improved design and development standards for the Village.

Secondly, a concurrent amendment package is proposed to the bring the bylaw into compliance with recent changes to State Statute (Act 181, the BE HOME Act), support goals related to housing and open space, and to correct errors and inconsistencies. Read a summary memo here.
