The Genny Albany is hosting a new event next week called Mending Mondays. Folks can drop in to learn or drop off to take advantage of our in-house seamstress!! 12/16 from 4pm-7pm in the community room!
Want to learn how to sew?
Lisa will be there to help folks learn there way around a machine/needle and thread. Some materials and machine provided! Great for folks who want to do their own mending. This part is free for all!
Got something in need of mending/altering?
Mending Mondays will also give you a chance to drop off something in need of alteration or repair. Need a new zipper in your coat? Your pants hemmed? Drop it off and Lisa will work on it and return the following month.
Prices for this service are based on project.
